Forging a Healthier Future: PASTECHL Signs Strategic Agreement with Institute of Public Health of Montenegro

At the premises of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, a significant agreement was officially signed between the Institute and the Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles (PASTECHL). This partnership aims to enhance collaboration in the field of public health and promote the integration of physical activity technologies in health monitoring and lifestyle improvement.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Snežana Barjakatorović Labović, Director of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, and Mr. Miodrag Zarubica, Director of the Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles.

Under the agreement, the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro formally joins as a partner institution in the upcoming 2nd Annual Scientific Conference of Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles, scheduled to take place from 16 to 19 October 2025 in Podgorica. This event, themed “Shaping the Future of Sports & Health Monitoring Systems” is a major platform for discussing cutting-edge research and applications in the fields of physical activity, technology, and public health.

As part of this partnership:

  • Employees of the Institute will be encouraged to participate in the Conference at a discounted registration fee.
  • The Institute will propose two invited speakers to present in the main conference program.
  • The Institute’s name and logo will be prominently featured in all conference materials, including the official website, abstract book, and promotional content.

This agreement marks a pivotal step in aligning scientific, technological, and public health sectors for the benefit of healthier lifestyles and more effective health monitoring systems in Montenegro and the region.
