PASTECHL Receives Support from the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation to Promote Science among Children

We are pleased to announce that the project “Science is Not Scary: Children as Young Researchers at the PASTECHL Podgorica 2025 Conference”, submitted by the Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles (PASTECHL), has received support from the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro within the framework of the 2025 Call for Co-Financing of Scientific Research Activities – Activities for the Promotion of Science and Research.

The approved funding amounts to €3,000.

The project will be implemented as part of the international PASTECHL Podgorica 2025 Conference, aiming to engage primary school students aged 11 to 14 as young researchers through an interactive workshop and scientific session. The children will have the opportunity to present their own research projects, collaborate with scientists, and gain experience in public speaking, while teachers and partner schools will provide mentorship and support.

This support from the Ministry is an important recognition of our ongoing work and an additional incentive to continue our mission of promoting science, research, and healthy lifestyles. We strongly believe that the project will foster a spirit of inquiry among children and strengthen connections between schools and the scientific community.

PASTECHL will soon share further details about the program and ways for interested schools and students to get involved.
