PASTECHL Partners with NASEF and Skillshot Academy to Promote Esports Health & Wellness

PASTECHL is excited to announce a new partnership with the Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports Federations (NASEF) and Skillshot Academy, in collaboration with the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine). Together, they are launching the Esports Health & Wellness Certification Program, an initiative designed to promote healthy gaming habits and overall well-being among students and esports enthusiasts.

As part of this collaboration, PASTECHL will receive a donation of ten licenses for the certification program. These licenses will be shared with students during the upcoming PASTECHL Podgorica 2025 Conference, giving participants the chance to explore key aspects of mental, physical, and social health in esports. The program is led by Dr. Katie Bartolo, a board-certified sports medicine physician and co-founder of the Esports Center for Performance Health.

The Esports Health & Wellness Certification focuses on three essential areas: the mind (sleep, mood, focus), the body (fitness, nutrition, ergonomics), and relationships (teamwork, sportsmanship, respect). Through this learning experience, students will gain valuable knowledge and skills to support a balanced and sustainable approach to gaming and competition.

This partnership highlights PASTECHL’s ongoing commitment to innovation, education, and student well-being. By integrating technology with health awareness, PASTECHL continues to empower the next generation of digital leaders to succeed, both on and off the screen.
