!The international scientific conference PASTECHL Bar 2026, titled “Sport, Science and Technology for the Future of the Olympic Movement”, was held in Bar, Montenegro, from 23 to 26 April 2026.
The conference was organized as part of the Montenegro Future Festival and brought together numerous national and international experts from various scientific and research fields. With a strong interdisciplinary focus, the program included plenary lectures, scientific sessions, workshops and EU Project Presentations aimed at strengthening international cooperation and exchanging contemporary scientific knowledge.
The conference was opened by Prof. Dr. Stevo Popović.
Special contribution to the organization and successful realization of the event was provided by the Balkan Center of Science and Innovation, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro, as well as many other partners.
Recognition plaques were awarded to Prof. Dr. Jovan Gardašević, Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, Prof. Dr. Budimir Lutovac, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Vuksanović Božarić, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, for their contribution to the organization of the conference.
The plaques were presented by Mr. Miodrag Zarubica, Executive Director of PASTECHL.
Through this event, PASTECHL further confirmed its commitment to connecting science, sport, health, technology and international cooperation.
