Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles (PASTECHL) has received financial support from Montenegrin Electric Enterprise (EPCG) for the organization of its second annual international scientific conference, to be held from October 16–19, 2025, at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.
The conference, titled “Shaping the Future of Sports & Health Monitoring Systems”, focuses on integrating technology, sports science, and public health to promote healthy lifestyles. It will bring together researchers, professionals, and policy-makers, particularly from Central and Eastern Europe, to present innovations such as wearable devices, mobile health apps, and digital tools that support physical activity and health monitoring.
Key goals include:
- Promoting physical activity, especially among vulnerable groups (seniors, people with disabilities, low-income populations)
- Sharing best practices and research findings
- Developing regional guidelines and public health policies
- Strengthening cooperation within the Central European Initiative (CEI)
The event directly contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of health (Goal 3), education (Goal 4), inclusion (Goal 10), and partnerships (Goal 17).
As a sponsor, EPCG approved a co-financing contribution of €3,000 and it will receive five full conference passes and public acknowledgment across all communications. Their support highlights the company’s commitment to social responsibility, innovation, and community well-being.
