During September 2026, dissemination activities for the Erasmus+ Sport project VALUES – Virtues and Leadership Unlocked through Engaging Sport (Project No. 101245989) were carried out at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro. Next to the annual conference, these activities aimed to continue raising awareness of the project’s objectives and its contribution to promoting European values through grassroots sport.
The information disseminated highlighted the importance of ethical leadership, teamwork, inclusion, integrity, and fair play in sport. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of coaches and club leaders in creating supportive sporting environments and helping young people develop values that extend beyond the playing field.
The dissemination also introduced the project’s planned outputs, including the “Sport for Values” Quality Mark, an e-learning platform, and an interactive learning toolkit. These resources are intended to support coaches, club leaders, and sport educators in integrating values-based approaches into everyday coaching and organizational practices. The Quality Mark will provide a framework for recognizing grassroots sport clubs committed to ethical leadership, inclusion, and values-based education.
Disseminating project information within the university setting provided an opportunity to highlight the connection between academic education and practical work in sport. It also emphasized the relevance of the VALUES project to the preparation of future sport professionals and the continuing development of those already working in the sector.
The September activities formed part of the project’s ongoing dissemination and communication efforts under Work Package 4 – Dissemination and Sustainability, supporting wider awareness of the project and encouraging the future use of its educational resources.
