The Erasmus+ Sport project VALUES – Virtues and Leadership Unlocked through Engaging Sport (Project No. 101245989) was presented during the international conference PASTECHL Bar 2026 – Sport, Science, and Technology for the Future of the Olympic Movement, held in Bar, Montenegro, from 23 to 26 April 2026. The dissemination activity was organized within Activity E3.4 – Workshop for Coaches and Club Leaders and formed part of the official conference programme.
The presentation introduced the main objectives and expected outcomes of the project, with particular emphasis on promoting European values through grassroots sport, leadership development, inclusion, equal opportunities, and non-formal education methodologies. Following the presentation, an interactive workshop and discussion session gathered researchers, teachers, coaches, students, and representatives of sport organizations interested in exchanging ideas and experiences related to values-based approaches in sport.
Participants discussed topics related to fair play, youth engagement, social inclusion, and the educational role of sport, while also exploring opportunities for future cooperation within the Erasmus+ Sport framework. The activity contributed to strengthening cooperation between the academic, educational, and sport sectors and increased the visibility of Erasmus+ Sport initiatives among relevant stakeholders and target groups.
The dissemination activity was implemented in accordance with Erasmus+ visibility and dissemination requirements and included supporting promotional materials, presentations, workshop documentation, and networking activities.
Project outlines and short biography of the presenters of the formal part of the dissemination activity can be found in the Book of Abstracts available at the following link.
