As part of the Erasmus+ Sport project USSI – Universal Sports for Social Impact, a Community Event will be organized on June 3, 2026, at JU Gymnasium “Stojan Cerović” in Nikšić, Montenegro, starting at 12:30 PM. The event will gather children, families, students, teachers, sport professionals, and representatives of local organizations in a day dedicated to sport, inclusion, and community engagement.
The Community Event in Nikšić is designed as an interactive sport and educational gathering that promotes positive social values through physical activity and non-formal learning. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in various sport demonstrations, teamwork activities, and community-oriented initiatives focused on inclusion, fair play, respect, solidarity, and healthy lifestyles. Through these activities, the event aims to demonstrate how sport can serve as a powerful tool for youth development, social connection, and strengthening cooperation between the education, sport, and social sectors at the local level.
This event represents the Montenegrin edition of the regional USSI Community Events that are also being organized in Albania and Kosovo as part of the project’s final dissemination and community engagement phase. While connected through a common mission and project framework, the Nikšić event will specifically focus on engaging the local community and presenting the outcomes and positive impact of the USSI initiative in Montenegro, while encouraging continued development of inclusive and values-based sport environments.
