In a landmark move to advance academic cooperation and innovation in sport and health research, Gál Ferenc University (GFU) from Hungary, and Physical Activity and Sports Tech for Healthy Lifestyles (PASTECHL) from Montenegro, have officially signed a cooperation agreement. The partnership underscores both institutions’ commitment to shaping the future of sports science and health monitoring through international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The agreement, signed by Prof. Dr. László Dux, Rector of GFU, and Mr. Miodrag Zarubica, Director of PASTECHL, lays the foundation for a joint initiative at the upcoming 2nd Annual Scientific Conference “Shaping the Future of Sports & Health Monitoring Systems,” taking place in Podgorica from October 16–19, 2025.
As a recognized partner institution, GFU will actively contribute to the conference’s academic program. The University is set to propose a keynote speaker and will encourage participation from its students and teachers/researchers. In recognition of the partnership, GFU attendees will receive discounted registration, full access to conference materials, participation certification, and inclusion in a social and networking program designed to strengthen academic bonds and future projects.
“Collaborations like this not only elevate the quality of research but also open new pathways for innovation in the area of sport and health sciences” – said Mr. Zarubica and add – “We are proud to welcome GFU as a key partner.”
All associated organizational and keynote participation costs will be covered by PASTECHL, reflecting its dedication to supporting international cooperation in this vital field.
Stay tuned as we continue to build bridges across borders to promote healthier lifestyles through science and shared vision.
