Zoran Nikolovski currently employed at Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, Croatia. Graduated at Medical School of University of Sarajevo and earned his PhD at Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain on Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology., where he worked as researcher and associate professor. Later he moved to WADA Accredited Antidoping Laboratory of Barcelona, where he worked as senior scientist on development of various methodologies for doping abuse detection (gene doping, growth hormones secretagogues, autologous transfusions). Before coming back to Croatia (3 years ago), he spent 7 years at ASPIRE Academy, Qatar, where he worked as Sport Biochemist. His scientific interests are mainly focused on biochemical analyses of different specimens, from salivary detection of stress markers to blood and hematology and on to indirect calorimetry, especially fat oxidation. Last 3 years he is lecturing at Faculty of Kinesiology anthropology, anatomy, doping and exercise physiology.
